Aliens Love Underpants: Stage adaptation of the Claire Freedman books at the Assembly Hall, Tunbridge Wells
10:00, 08 July 2015
A gang of mischievous Martians are about to cause chaos this weekend. The group of extra-terrestrials are heading to Earth with only one purpose – to fill their boots with Y-fronts.
In this stage show for children and families, the naughty aliens ransack washing lines for grandma’s spotted bloomers and grandad’s long johns.
Aliens Love Underpants is based on the hit book series by Claire Freedman, which was selected for Richard and Judy’s Book Club and contains the book’s popular rhyme, “Aliens love underpants of every shape and size, But there are no underpants in space so here’s a big surprise!”
Director Adam Bampton-Smith said: “This funny and colourful book makes a wonderful stage show, which is just right for a family audience. It is pant-astic.”
Aliens Love Underpants is at the Assembly Hall Theatre in Tunbridge Wells on Friday, July 10 and Saturday, July 11. Tickets cost £12.50 or £10 for groups of 10-plus.
