Looking for some fun things to do with the family this weekend? Why not head to Hadlow for this year’s Lambing event.
The lambing season during spring is the time of the year when sheep give birth to lambs and many organisations take advantage of the unique time to raise awareness about the importance of farming and agriculture in general.
Around 900 newborn lambs are expected to be brought into the world this spring and what better way to be part of that magical experience than by visiting Hadlow College’s Lambing Weekend on Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17 on Ashes Lane (TN11 0AL).
The fun-filled family event, which runs from 11am to 4pm on both days, offers a unique window into agricultural life and has a wide variety of activities in store for adults and children. Apart from the chance to witness the actual lambing taking place, there are also many other varied animals to see, as well as tractor trailer and hovercraft rides, depending on the weather.
Those hoping to take a look at some birds of prey and meet some llamas, pigs, ponies and goats are also in luck.
