Neverworld festival replacement this summer, Camp Kindling for families
06:00, 10 May 2021
A wild weekend of family activities and live music by night is coming to a woodland in Kent this summer, in place of the Neverworld festival.
Organisers of the huge music festival, which started out as LeeFest in Lee Denny's back garden when his parents went away, announced last month that they were cancelling this year's main event.
In its place, and held at Heritage Pine Forest in West Kingsdown near Dartford, will be Camp Kindling, from Friday, August 20 to Sunday, August 23.
The summer camp for families promises 'adventure by day; party by night.'
Organisers said: "Nothing can match our Neverworld memories, but it will be a wonderful chance to celebrate together as things start to open up.
"We created Camp Kindling as a place where families can bond over learning, adventure and fun; choosing activities that parents and kids can participate in, and enjoy together. This culminates in woodland parties, live music and DJs."
The weekend includes 100 activities and 50 live bands and DJs, with the chance to relax in wood-fired hot tubs, or talk around the campfire.
Tickets start from £195 and £95 for children for two nights. Book at campkindling.co.uk
