Even though I'm in my 50th year now, I couldn't can't quite remember all the songs The Osmonds sang.

But the memories of watching them perform harmonies on TV shows in my younger years came flooding back as soon as I started to watch this wonderful new musical.

The Osmonds: A New Musical will be wowing Bromley audiences this week until Saturday.

My theatre chum who is just slightly older than me knew every song and yes, she was so excited to see and hear the tracks from their back catalogue and had a wonderful time singing along.

And the new show at the Churchill Theatre is all about their life and it really is a complete rollercoaster of emotion as the famous brothers get thrust into the spotlight of showbiz and become global popstars.

It is an all dancing and all singing spectacular, the set, the costumes and the cast, and especially the band, are just fantastic on stage from beginning to end.

Their remarkable story takes you from their younger years and highlights some of the band’s most influential moments, from the ‘Osmondmania’ of the 1970s to the popularity of the Donny and Marie Show (which I do actually remember watching with my parents).

And a special mention must go to the youngest cast members, the kids team of Osmonds just made the show perfect and we were able to laugh, sing and clap loudly when Jack Jones, Alfie Jones, Alfie Murray, Tom Walsh, Osian Salter, Fraser Fowkes strutted their stuff on stage as the very young brothers as they started out on their career paths.

It has been recreated for the stage by Jay Osmond himself, who was one of the original members of the Osmond Brothers in the 1960s, before Donny joined and the brothers renamed themselves The Osmonds.

And the family certainly do go through some hard times, but also some very funny times and they did it all as a family and of course, I do remember some of their singles, such as Love Me For a Reason, Crazy Horses and Puppy Love.

The show is brilliant musical, if you love song, dance, the 70s, then it's right up your street.

There are sad points, but it's beautifully put together and of course, that magical dancing ensemble towards the end of the show is just perfect. Even I sang and danced in the aisles like a was a real teenage fan.
