00:01, 16 July 2016
The planet’s biggest festival of all things military is back for a 34th year.
The War and Peace Revival features military vehicles from tanks to planes plus living history re-enactments from the First World War to more recent conflicts.
There will also be models and a fun fair, vintage market place and flypasts. Music and live entertainment plays a large part of the five-day festival with performers including the Jive Aces, Folkestone-born singer Victoria Bass and the Cinque Ports Lindy Hoppers.
There will also be book signings and trade stalls, plus displays of replica aircraft.
Last year the event attracted thousands as well as acknowledging the 75th anniversary of the start of the Second World War.
DETAILS
The War and Peace Revival runs from Tuesday, July 19 to Saturday, July 23 and is held at Folkestone Racecourse, at Westenhanger, near Hythe. The show opens at 10am each day and the car park is open from 9am. There is public camping available on the site.
