Scottish rock band Texas announce concert at Dreamland as part of the Margate Summer Series 2025

A summer concert series has announced the latest name to join its line-up for next year.
Scottish band Texas will perform at Dreamland as part of the Margate Summer Series in July, having just rounded off a sold-out arena tour.
Tickets to see the group on Margate’s Scenic Stage go on sale on Friday, November 8 at 9am. You can book tickets online here.
The rock band are best known for hits such as I Don’t Want a Lover, Say What You Want, Summer Son and Inner Smile.
Having formed in Glasgow in the 1980s, the group, fronted by singer Sharleen Spiteri, released their debut album, Southside, in 1989.
It peaked at No. 3 in the UK Album Chart and the band has since gone on to have six Top 10 albums, including No. 1 records White on Blonde and The Hush.
Over the past 40 years, the chart-toppers have been nominated for five BRIT Awards and won an Ivor Novello Award.
Texas will perform at Dreamland in Margate on Friday, July 18 2025.
They join the likes of Olly Murs and UB40 who have already been announced for next year’s Margate Summer Series.
