Danny Beard, Lawrence Chaney and Blu Hydrangea to perform at Glitterbomb in the Park at Maidstone’s Mote Park in summer 2023

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard will headline a LGBTQ+ festival in Kent next year.
Glitterbomb in the Park returns to Maidstone’s Mote Park for a third year on Friday, May 26 and boasts a line-up of drag performers and entertainers.

The festival has announced its initial line-up for next summer, which includes the most recent winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, Danny Beard.
The drag performer, from Liverpool, competed against Cheddar Gorgeous, Black Peppa and Jonbers Blonde in the final episode last week and was crowned the winner of the series.
Other acts announced for next year’s Glitterbomb event include RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season two winner Lawrence Chaney and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs The World winner Blu Hydrangea.
Willam, who competed on the original American version of the franchise, will also be performing, along with Choriza May and Vanity Milan, who is currently competing in RuPaul’s Drag Race Canada vs The World.
Other artists on the line-up include Maidstone’s own The Madame, Bailey J Mills, Drag with No Name, Yshee Black and Dosa Cat.
Along with live entertainment, there will also be DJs, merchandise stalls, food and drink available to purchase on the day.
The event takes place on Friday, May 26 2023 from 4pm to 11pm.
