Star of the UK edition of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Vinegar Strokes, is set to star in panto in Kent this Christmas.

Vinegar Strokes - also known as Daniel Jacob, who starred in the West End production of Everybody's Talking About Jamie - will join Silly Billy and co, for the fun-filled family panto The Pirates of Treasure Island at the Stag Theatre in Sevenoaks.

After restrictions forced the panto to be staged online last year, the show promises to be back in December with the swashbuckling adventure led by Ant Payne as Silly Billy Bones.

Vinegar Strokes, who has also appeared in Death Drop and was a hit in the first season of Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK, will play the Magical Mermaid.

Also joining the cast will be Jamie Alexander Wilson as panto dame Mrs Smollett, and Rik Jones as Long John Silver. Further casting will be announced later.

The Pirates Of Treasure Island runs at the Stag Theatre from Friday, December 10 to Sunday, January 2, with tickets from £16. To book visit sevenoakspanto.com
