Santas will be dashing - but not necessarily through the snow - this weekend when runners are under starter’s orders for the annual Heart of Kent Hospice Santa Dash.

The event on Saturday, December 21 is at the Gallagher Stadium, Maidstone and is in support of the Aylesford hospice.

In true festive fashion, runners of all ages will make a dash across the football pitch at half time during the match, at around 3.45pm.

Tickets cost £5 for under fives, £10 for ages up to 16 and £18 for adults with discounts available for family bookings.

Prices include a standing ticket to watch Maidstone United v Dorking Wanderers as well as a Santa suit - including beard and hat and medal. All child dashers will be entered into a draw to win a football signed by the Maidstone team.
