Soft Cell's Marc Almond and sax man John Harle in concert at Colyer-Fergusson Hall, Canterbury

Renowned saxophonist John Harle will be celebrating his 60th birthday alongside some of his favourite musicians and singers.
Sounds New contemporary music festival has organised the evening at the Colyer-Fergusson Hall, Canterbury, on Sunday, November 13, at 7.30pm, with singer Marc Almond, pictured below.
John, who is also a successful composer, has picked up many awards and accolades including RTS Best Title Music for Television for his theme to BBC1’s Silent Witness.
Alongside him and the former Soft Cell star will be English classical soprano Sarah Leonard.
Also part of the evening will be keyboardist Steve Lodder, Dudley Phillips on bass, percussion by Hugh Wilkinson and Jess Gillam, winner of BBC Young Musician 2016 Woodwind.
