Two Kent artisan food companies, Simply Ice Cream and Fudge Kitchen, join forces for new ice cream flavour

A blossoming partnership between two Kent businesses has resulted in a tasty new slice of summer.
Simply Ice Cream in Bonnington has launched its new peanut brittle flavour after joining forces with Fudge Kitchen in Lyminge.
The ice cream, which officially launched this week, combines Simply’s signature rich ice cream with Fudge Kitchen’s peanut brittle recipe, which has a balance of toffee sweetness with saltiness from the peanuts.
Sally Newall, Simply Ice Cream managing director, said: “Kent’s artisan fine food scene has been revolutionised over the last decade, with its profile raised in part by the great work of organisations such as Produced in Kent, Visit Kent and the Taste of Kent Awards.
“But what we have really noticed is the extraordinary range of new truly fantastic food businesses that have been popping up all over Kent recently really putting the county at the heart of British fine food.
“We are delighted to announce the launch of this truly delicious collaborative flavour.”
The new flavour is available in 120ml and 500ml tubs from regional farm shops, fine food stores, delicatessens, cafes and tea rooms across the county.
