He may be the stuff of snooker legend with his recordbreaking 147 back in 1983, but there's more to the former world champion Cliff Thorburn than that.
And if you head to Paddock Wood Social Club later this month, you'll find out, as the Canadian snooker ace will be playing one of his very last dates in the UK.
The small club has some strong links with the cue hero, who played his final competitive snooker match at the age of 73 earlier this month.
Young snooker star Dylan Smith, whose practise facility at the club was officially opened by MP Greg Clark in October, has had online tutoring from the celebrity player.
Colin Gross, who will be MCing the evening along with Martin Glassett, has an association with him which goes back quite a bit further too.
He said: "I've known him for 50 years. My dad owned a club in London and he used to come in there.
"He has had a bit of a colourful life and he is a funny guy. It should be a great night."
Cliff, who was world champion in 1980 and made the first 147 break at the Crucible in 1983, will be sharing some famous trick shots and there'll be a chance to relive that famous 147, plus there will be stories and a Q&A session.
There will also be a limited amount of exhibition frames available.
The evening at the club in Lucknow Road, Paddock Wood, starts at 6.30pm on Saturday, January 22, and continues 'til late. Tickets cost £25.
To book call Lee Smith on 07796958312.
