A street theatre event taking over a town centre this weekend will change the way you see the high street forever.
Ever wondered what histories, what mysteries, lie behind the pedestrianised retail zone? Who Mr Boots was and why he opened a chemist? Who is Claire and why does she have some many accessories? If you’ve pondered such questions then A High Street Odyssey was made for you.
Developed by theatre company Inspector Sands, tours begin at 11am, 12.30pm, 2pm and 3.30pm on both Saturday, June 21, and Sunday, June 22. Tickets cost £10 for adults, £8 for concessions and £30 for a family ticket. Call 01303 858500.
