Kicking off this season with a bang, the party is set to be a foodie paradise recognising cuisine from all over the globe. You can tuck into Macknade’s signature wood-fired pizzas, South African boerewors, truffle and parmesan fries, BBQ braised beef brisket, spicy tacos and loaded crepes.

When it comes to washing it all down, don’t worry - Macknade are also offering visitors a complimentary draft beer, glass of wine or soft drink with their meal.

The celebration doesn’t end with the food and drink. Kent-based cover band Under the Wood will be keeping everyone entertained during the evening with their eclectic catalogue of hits, and there will also be a traditional meat raffle to finish off the night.

Macknade’s Faversham Food Village is set to introduce hungry customers to small, independent businesses from across the county, such as the Saffe Bru food truck, Silver Birch Fine Foods, Canterbury’s Taco Bill and Herne Bay’s Mamie's Crepes, all summer long.

Since its beginnings in 1847, Macknade has been a champion of local food and drink producers. In addition to its Faversham location, Macknade also has food halls in Ashford and Tunbridge Wells, as well as an online store.

The Faversham launch party takes place on Friday, April 29 from 6.30pm. The Food Village will then be open from Wednesday to Sunday, 11am to 5pm, with a late opening until 9pm every Friday and Saturday.
