Former Strictly couple Vincent and Flavia will have their Last Tango at Canterbury's Marlowe Theatre
00:02, 11 April 2016
Former Strictly stars Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace’s The Last Tango tour reaches the county this week.
After 20 years of quicksteps and rumbas, this will be the last time to see the pair on stage together, although they are not giving up dancing altogether.
Flavia, 36, said: “It’s an incredible experience to perform live in front of our wonderful audience night after night, but all good things must come to an end, so we’re creating our final theatre show. It’s going to be intimate, emotional and full of our award-winning Argentine tango.
“The Last Tango celebrates our best work and most beautiful dance moves before we finally say farewell to theatre.”
Vincent, 37, said: “The last few years have been intense. It may be our final theatre tour but we’re going to go out with a bang! It’s our best show yet.”
The pair, who have been World Argentine Tango Champions, left BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing in 2012.
The Last Tango, directed by Olivier Award winner Karen Bruce, is at Canterbury’s Marlowe Theatre from Tuesday, April 12 to Saturday, April 16. Tickets from £24. To book call 01892 787787 or click here.
