Here's how you can also help...

Let us know if you have somewhere for us to feature by emailing whatsoneditor@thekmgroup.co.uk

Get a takeaway: We often opt for the big chains when we could be supporting local businesses. See if somewhere local you know could give you the same food fix as the big names.

Order to cook at home: Why not feel like a masterchef and order a meal to prepare at home? Some restaurants have embraced this idea, and you will too once you've tried it.

Buy a gift voucher or make a booking: Even local restaurants that have completely shut are still crying out for bookings for the future. Get one for a loved one - or just treat yourself.

Leave a review : Reviews are so important to smaller businesses - but have you ever left one? Let others know what's out there that's good.

Shop locally - even online: Let your shopping come to you safely - and make it local so that you’re helping a firm near you.
