There's a reason Eastwell Manor is a place for special occasions, such as honeymoons, landmark birthdays and anniversaries: it's a very special place.
Surrounded by hundreds of acres of picturesque Kent parkland, the site provides one of the most relaxing and luxurious stays in the county you can imagine.
It now has stylish new bedrooms in the main house, each which a 1920s and 1930s design - right down to the upholstery and furnishings, classical details and art deco style bathrooms.
Refurbishment of all the 62 bedrooms at the hotel and mews cottages are due for completion this summer.
Step through the heavy wooden doors of the hotel and you'll find the refurbished AA Rosette Manor Restaurant, which offers some mouthwatering seasonal menus and traditional dishes, from seared hand dived scallops to baked cheese soufle and roast breast of Gressingham duck.
The restaurant's attention to detail is second to none with fresh yellow roses on the tables, silver milk jugs at breakfast and ever-attentive staff who seem able to anticipate your needs almost before you've thought of them yourself.
Of an evening, head into the plush new Lounge Bar which has been renovated to a high standard - the Great Gatsby might feel at home.
The bedrooms are sumptuous with huge beds that feel like clouds and 1920s details such as record players with retro records to play. The suites have en suite bathrooms which are so spacious they echo and views to die for.
Want to go for a run before breakfast or relax in the spa; chill out on the enormous sun loungers, or try a yoga class? Whether you're a gym bunny or want to feel healthy with just a touch of exercise, the Champneys Spa a very short walk from the hotel has it all.
The Spa Restaurant has a focus on combining healthy eating with healthy living, in line with the Champneys ethos of healthy, delicious and beautiful food.
There is a 20m heated indoor pool area, sauna, steam room, hydrotherapy pool and upstairs the pièce de résistance... the treatment rooms. A full body massage which lasts 50 minutes and which will get the knots out of your shoulders from a hard week's work comes highly recommended.
The renovation project is not done yet and coming in the summer will be Hillside Huts in the grounds, promising a cosy and comfortable stay.

Overnight spa breaks at Eastwell Manor start from £137 per person which includes full access to spa facilities, three course dinner, nutritious lunch, and breakfast.
