There's just a few days left for the chance to get a free day out at one of Kent's top attractions.
The Kent Big Weekend - which this year has been dubbed the Kent Bigger Weekend as it runs for longer - offers free tickets to dozens of attractions from castles and wildlife parks to vineyards.
The event, organised by Visit Kent, was postponed last year due to the pandemic, but this year's tickets winners will have longer to use their tickets, as it runs from Saturday, June 26 to Friday, July 23.
Some 60 venues have signed up to offer free days out for people living in Kent, as well as Essex and East Sussex - with more than 5,000 tickets up for grabs.
They include Canterbury Cathedral, Dover Castle, Hush Heath Estate, the Historic Dockyard, Chatham, Margate Caves and Wildwood Trust.
The online ballot where people can register for free tickets to their favourite attractions closes on Friday, June 18.
Visit Kent chief executive Deirdre Wells OBE said: “Following an extremely difficult 15 months for Kent’s tourism and hospitality businesses, what better way to mark the re-opening of our much-loved venues than by getting outdoors and rediscovering what’s sitting right on our doorstep?"
Winners will receive a pair of tickets. Tickets are allocated at random by ballot and the winners are notified by email.
