The county is set to say its final festive farewell as the first panto of the season will take its last curtain call this weekend.
Canterbury's Marlowe Theatre production, Mother Goose, which was the first festive show to open in November, will have its last show on Sunday, January 12.
Starring Chatham-born CBeebies and This Morning star Dr Ranj, EastEnders' Jenna Russell with local star Ben Roddy as the dame and Thanet's Lloyd Hollett, the show still has some tickets left for its last weekend of performances.
The show by Evolution Pantomimes, is from the same creative team behind last year’s record-breaking Cinderella.
The run had some landmarks, including a tenth anniversary for actor Ben Roddy, this year playing Mother Goose, and the 25th year for musical director Chris Wong.
It has also hit the headlines when motorcycle stunt rider stunt Drueicy Madorf crashed during a high-speed globe-riding act, though, after hospital treatment, the seasoned rider was left with only bruising and a chipped fingernail.
There are some tickets left for the weekend. Go to marlowetheatre.com or call 01227 787787.
Tickets are also on sale for next year's show with Evolution Pantomimes. Jack and the Beanstalk will feature Marlowe favourite Ben Roddy and be written and directed by Paul Hendy.
It will run from Friday, November 27 to Sunday, January 10, 2021.
