Halloween Scare at Hever Castle

It may be a family-friendly, historic site by day but this Halloween there's a darker side to Hever Castle & Gardens.

The new Halloween Scream experience features live actors and special effects and is designed by AtmosFEAR! Scare Entertainment.

The two-part event starts in the historic castle with an exclusive exhibition of 12 ‘ghost photographs’ ... and the ghosts captured on film are now roaming the halls.

Brave visitors can choose to journey through the castle in a 15 minute walk through immersive interactive experience including sights, sounds and smells. They will come face-to-face with the phantoms and witness Sir Doyle’s assistant attempting to capture the ghost of Hever Castle on film in The 13th Frame.

In the second part, visitors will be transported back to 1940 and the bombs of the blitz, heading into the cellars to take refuge - only to find a more terrifying encounter awaits - SUBstratum.

The experience is for thrill seekers over 14 and costs £25 each. Those 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult 18 or over at all times. Tickets must be pre-booked here.
