Legendary DJ Dave Pearce has joined the kmfm team and will be presenting his first show this weekend.
The well-known 50-year-old has had a long and high profile career in radio, starting from his early days on the UK’s large land-based pirate radio station Radio Jackie 227, through to Radio London and then to Radio 1, which he joined in 1995.
He took over the weekday early breakfast show from Bruno Brookes, sat in for Pete Tong and Chris Evans and later became presenter on the Radio 1’s Drivetime. He went on to present Radio 1’s Dance Anthems for 10 years.
Dave left Radio 1 in 2008 after a 13 year career at the station.
What Dave doesn’t know about dance music isn’t worth knowing and this Saturday, he kicks off his show with special guest Example - the rapper behind hits such as We'll Be Coming Back and Changed The Way You Kissed Me. Dave's future guests on kmfm include Chicane, Sonique, Darude and Freemasons
Tune in to kmfm from 7pm to 10pm every
Saturday to hear Dave’s Dance Anthems
