Broadcaster Terry Wogan has had to cancel his appearance at the Folkestone Book Festival, which launches on Friday.
Seventy-seven-year-old Sir Terry was due to appear at the 10-day star-studded event on Friday, November 27, to talk about his 40-year career in television and radio.
Organisers announced today that Sir Terry, who had to pull out of last Friday's Children in Need show due to health problems, had also cancelled his appearance at Folkestone.
He is expected to be unable to make any appearances for around a month due to a back problem.
A spokesman for the festival said: "We wish him a speedy recovery, and we hope to be able to welcome him to Folkestone soon."
