Farming attraction Kent Life in Maidstone announces reopening date
06:00, 25 June 2020
A popular farming attraction is set to reopen to visitors next week.
Kent Life in Lock Lane, Sandling, Maidstone, has been closed since March due to government restrictions, but has announced it is preparing to reopen its doors, following other wildlife parks and reserves across the county that opened earlier this month.
The site, which is a working farm, will open on Saturday, July 4, when a number of other attractions will be reopening, along with pubs, restaurants and hairdressers.
In a statement to its Facebook followers managers said: "The news we have all been waiting for. We'll be re-opening on Saturday, July 4.
" We have to implement some changes - one of the biggest will be that all visitors will need to pre-book an arrival time-slot online, including Kent Life members. You are then welcome to spend as long as you like with us."
People wanting to visit will be able to book from Monday, June 29.
