Hollingbourne pancake race
Get ready for a flippin' good time at the 10th annual pancake race in a village near Maidstone.
Villagers, school children and WI members will gather on Lance Memorial Field in Hollingbourne for an afternoon of races, refreshments and merriment.
The first competition will be at 1.30pm on Tuesday, February 25 and all pans and pancakes will be supplied by the organisers - Hollingbouene WI - along with rosettes for the winners and tea, coffee, and hot cross buns will be on sale in the nearby Cardwell Pavillion.
Westgate pancake race
People will be getting their frying pans at the ready in the heart of Westgate on Shrove Tuesday, for the traditional pancake flipping race.
Rounds will begin in Station Road at 10am, with celebrations expected to continue until 11.30am.
There will be races for all ages and a prize-giving ceremony at the end.

Bodiam races, games and supper
They'll be lots of pancake-related fun at Quarry Farm in Bodiam where children are invited to the Hub after school for races, games prizes and can even stay for a tasty pancake supper, where you will be able to choose from a selection of sweet and savoury toppings.
Festivities will go ahead come sunshine or rain as the race will be held inside, so there's no excuse not to come along.

Pancake Palaver in Folkestone
Pancake Palaver will be an afternoon packed full of activities, songs and most importantly - pancakes!
The free event which celebrates Shrove Tuesday, will be held at St John's Church in Folkestone on Saturday, February 29 between 3pm and 4pm and welcomes families from the local area.
New Pancake Day menu at Bill's
Bill's is getting into the spirit of Shrove Tuesday by launching a brand new themed menu offering a range of sweet and savoury treats from sweetcorn pancakes, poached eggs, feta and avocado or the classic lemon and sugar.
There will also be gluten free and vegan options on offer. The menu will be available in the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells branches.
Gourmet pancakes in Canterbury
A hotel in Canterbury will be getting into the spirit of the day with a gourmet pancake feast at Broome Park Hotel so you can save yourself the mess at home.
Indulge in crepes smothered in chocolate, fruit or a selection of other toppings at the Canterbury Road establishment between midday and 3pm.

Bag a bargain in Tunbridge Wells where you can get five pancakes for £5 at Cassie's Bar at the town's indoor bowls club in High Woods Lane.
There will be plenty of sweets, treats, ice cream and sauces to cover your fried goods in on Tuesday, February 25 between 2pm and 8pm.
