Armed police storm home as part of drug dealing raids in Whitstable and Faversham

Armed police stormed a home as part of a series of warrants related to alleged drug dealing.

Officers raided three properties in the Whitstable and Faversham areas as part of an ongoing investigation.

They were carried out on Thursday and Friday in Florence Avenue in Seasalter, Gosselin Street in Whitstable, and a road in Hernhill that police would not identify.

Witnesses reported seeing armed police storming the property in Gosselin Street.

A police spokesman confirmed a 55-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drugs offences.

"Further enquiries revealed the man was wanted in relation to an outstanding court warrant and he was transferred to court," he said.
