Body found in water at Seasalter, near Whitstable

A body has been pulled from the water at Seasalter.
Emergency services descended on the beach near Whitstable at about 1.30pm today after being alerted to reports of a body in the sea.
The death, which comes after a flood alert was issued for the area, is not being treated as suspicious.
Officers remain at the scene and inquires are ongoing.
A large emergency services response has been at the coast throughout the afternoon, with many vehicles parking by The Sportsman pub.
The circumstances of the death are not yet known.
