Whitstable shops burgled in Harbour Street and Tankerton Road

Two shops have been burgled in Whitstable.
Police were called on Monday morning by staff at stores in Harbour Street and Tankerton Road.
Money was stolen from a shop in Harbour Street - believed to have been burgled between midnight on Sunday and 9am on Monday.
A store in Tankerton Road was damaged and is believed to have been broken into between 4.30pm on Saturday and 10am on Monday.
Inquiries into both incidents are ongoing and officers are carrying out a review of CCTV from the surrounding areas.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/12435/20 for the Harbour Street burglary or 46/12548/20 for the Tankerton Road burglary.
