Whitstable: Cyclist left unconscious in Cromwell Road

A cyclist has been taken to hospital after reportedly being punched unconscious by a driver in Whitstable this morning.
The victim, a man in his 50s, was reportedly hit by the male motorist in Cromwell Road.
Police were called to the scene at around 7.40am to a report of an attack.
Ambulance crews were sent to the scene and the cyclist was taken to QEQM Hospital in Margate for further assessment and treatment.
The driver of the unknown vehicle is yet to be identified.
