00:01, 15 August 2014
A man found dead in a car in woodland has been named as Malcolm Collett.
The 54-year-old Chislet baker's body was discovered in Clowes Wood in Whitstable on August 2.
His death is not being treated as suspicious.
Mr Collett, of Saddleton Road, Whitstable, ran the Beach Dog Bakery with his wife Brenda, who revealed the tragedy on the business’s Facebook page.
She said: "It is with sadness and regret that I have to inform you that Malcolm died suddenly yesterday. I have no further details at the moment. I hope he is now at peace.
"Beach Dog Bakery is still open as he would have wanted but I would ask you to bear with us at this difficult time. Thank you for your understanding."
North Kent coroner Alan Blunsdon opened an inquest into Mr Collett’s death, which he adjourned for further inquiries.
