Smoke drifts across a seaside town in this image captured by a drone this morning.
A huge blaze engulfed a shed and fence in Albert Street, Whitstable, at about 6am.
Two fire engines attended and crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet, a main jet and water from a hydrant to extinguish the fire.
There were no reported casualties and the cause is not yet known.
Eyewitness Laura Turner told KentOnline: “I woke up at 5.40am as my two dogs were growling, which soon turned to barking.
“I went downstairs and heard a crackling sound coming from outside.

"I pulled the blind up and saw tall flames from a house about three houses down.
“I immediately called the fire service and alerted the rest of my neighbours - the inhabitants of the house were fast asleep.”
The flames were extinguished at about 6.30am.
