Trains were delayed this evening after strong winds caused a tree to fall on a line.
It blocked the tracks at Whitstable meaning services between Faversham and Ramsgate were disrupted.
Southeastern staff on board the train attempted to move the tree.
But Network Rail sent a team to the scene and the line reopened at around 9.30pm
Buses were ordered to run between Faversham and Ramsgate.
Storm Francis earlier caused delays for services in other areas of Kent after trees fell on the lines.
