Forensic teams were spotted as police and paramedics attended an incident in Whitstable.
Several police cars and an ambulance were pictured in Saddleton Road on Sunday afternoon.
Officers have since confirmed they were called to assist paramedics with a "medical incident".
Natalie Bennett, who lives nearby in St Luke's Close where she runs her business Paganphaze cosmetics, came across the situation when walking her dog Merlin just before 4pm.
She said: "They were all at the top of our road leading into Saddleton Road.
"There were loads of them, police, ambulance and forensics. We don't know what's going on yet as police won't disclose anything but we've seen forensics go in with cameras."
A tarpaulin had been erected between the front door and a waiting ambulance but by 6.30pm the scene was clear.
A police spokesman said officers attended following a call to assist South East Coast Ambulance (SECAmb) service at 1.35pm at a "medical incident".
Police and SECAmb were unable to provide any more details.
