A Kent high street was shut off after a van ploughed through the front window of a shop.
Police were called to the scene in Whitstable following the crash shortly before 10pm last night.
Officers discovered the van embedded in the front of clothes and homeware store Whites of Kent, which has suffered extensive damage.
A Ford car on the opposite site of the road appeared to have also been struck during the incident, with damage to its front passenger side.
There were no ambulances at the scene in the aftermath of the crash, and it is understood the van driver has not suffered any significant injuries.
