A horse was rescued from a ditch by specialist animal rescue fire crews.
The 11-year-old grey mare had become stuck up to its haunches in a water-filled dyke in Faversham Road, Seasalter yesterday (Saturday) afternoon.
Two fire crews were called to the scene at around 3.30pm and Faversham's animal rescue unit used dry suits to enter the water and calm the horse.
It was then lifted to safety using a crane.
Crews had left the scene by 4.45pm.
