16:51, 10 March 2017
The East Quay Venue on Whitstable beach has been crowned the best place to tie the knot in the south east.
The seaside venue has been dubbed the “cream of the crop” after scooping victory at the Bridebook.co.uk awards.
Run by the Whistable Oyster Company, the venue, which is one of the oldest buildings in the town, can cater for up to 100 guests and includes a dance floor.
Clare Potten, deputy manager of the venue, said: “We have a dedicated, loyal and fun-loving team, who without, this would not have been possible.
“We are lucky to have a beautiful venue, in a picturesque location and it is always a pleasure to be part of every couples big day.”
Couples and guests can enjoy seaside views and a menu which boasts fresh fish and oysters caught by fishermen in the harbour.
Founder and CEO of Bridebook.co.uk, Hamish Shephard, said: “The Bridebook.co.uk Wedding Awards recognise the cream of the crop when it comes to venues and suppliers.”
