A Kent chippy voted the best takeaway in the county has donated 2,000 meals to key workers.
Staff at Ossie's Fish Bar, which has branches in Whitstable, Sittingbourne and Faversham, have been trying to do their bit after its branches were forced to close amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Run by Ossie Altun, it was voted as the county's top takeaway by KentOnline readers.
More than 2,700 people took part in the poll, with 22% backing Ossie's as their favourite.
In a post shared on the company's Facebook page, it read: "For the moment we are staying home, protecting the NHS and saving lives.
"Thank you to everyone working on the frontline in the NHS and the care sector to look after the sick, the elderly and the vulnerable.
"I don't think any of us can imagine the challenges you are facing on a daily, even hourly, basis. You are simply incredible.
"We are proud to have been doing our bit to try and help frontline workers and so far have donated about 2,000 meals."
The organisations and groups include the Estuary View Medical Centre, Canterbury police, the city council and the Pilgrims Hospice.
It has also donated to care homes, supermarkets, banks and Jobcentre Plus.
Ossie’s is a family-run business which has been in Kent for 20 years and now has seven shops across the county.
The Faversham branch was the first to open - with Whitstable being the most recent addition.
