Rail passengers are facing delays this afternoon after a lorry hit a bridge at Chestfield and Swalecliffe station.
Southeastern say they were unable to run trains over the bridge for 45 minutes after the collision at 12.30pm.
The operator was given the all clear following an inspection by Network Rail who confirmed it was safe to run services.
A spokesman said: "We were given the all clear at 1.15pm and are experiencing knock-on delays to services of around 30-45 minutes."
Both police and the British Transport Police say they have no record of the incident.
