Man arrested on suspicion of burglary after car theft and house break-in in Chestfield, near Whitstable

A man has been arrested after a car was stolen, and two others were broken into.
Police are investigating after a house was broken into in Chestfield, near Whitstable, and a car was stolen from outside the home.
On the same night between July 6 and 7, two other cars were broken into and attempts were made to enter another home.
A police spokesman said: “Following an investigation by the Kent Crime Squad, a 20-year-old man from Canterbury was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
“The suspect has since been bailed pending further inquiries.”
