Detective issue appeal for witnesses after man in his 30s assaulted in Oxford Street, Whitstable

Police have issued an appeal for information after a man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being assaulted in Whitstable.
Detectives say they are looking to speak to witnesses following the attack in Oxford Street on Saturday between 1.30am and 2am.
The man was taken to a London hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Police say the man was with his partner in a black Audi A4 when a verbal altercation took place with a man and woman in Oxford Street.
They are looking to speak to anyone who witnessed the argument.
A section of road containing blood evidence cordoned off for several hours after the attack.
Police spokesman Richard Allen said: "If there are any witnesses that haven't contacted police yet, we would urge them to get in touch."
