Motorcyclist Tim Moorhead of Whitstable dies in crash during qualifying section of 2014 Manx Grand Prix

A Kent motorcyclist has died during the qualifying stages of the Manx Grand Prix.
Tim Moorhead, of Whitstable, was killed at just after 8pm on the mountain section of the course during the qualifying stage for the annual motorcycling race.
It's believed the 50-year-old, who was married, made his Manx Grand Prix debut in 2012.
The Manx Motor Cycle Club passed on its deepest sympathy to Tim’s family and friends.
The Coroner of Inquests has been informed and an investigation into the circumstances of the accident is under way.
