A woman is being sought by police after a dog killed a cat and bit a man outside his home.
Police have today circulated the image of a woman they wish to speak to, following the incident in Whitstable last month.
Officers say they were called at 9.45am on June 10, following a report a dog had bitten a man in Russell Drive.
The victim, Dave Flahaut, previously told KentOnline how he had run outside that morning to find his family's cat being mauled to death by a dog in his driveway.
Recalling the traumatic incident, he told how he had been injured as he tried to wrench his beloved moggie from the dog's jaws.
But the little tortoiseshell tragically died in the attack.
Mr Flahaut said the dog in question was being walked on a leash by a woman.
Police investigating the incident have today released a CCTV image of a woman they would like to speak to, as they believe she may have information which could assist their enquiries.
Anyone with any information should call police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/99942/21.
