Police urge driver to come forward after A299 Thanet Way crash near Whitstable

Police have urged a motorist to come forward following a serious crash near Whitstable which has left a man in hospital.
A red Ford Fiesta was travelling on the coast-bound A299 when it left the road near the Chestfield Tunnel at about 6.50am on January 24.
Police, paramedics and fire crews all arrived at the scene and a man, who is in his 20s, suffered serious injuries and was taken to a London hospital - where he remains receiving treatment.
Officers now wish to speak to a witness seen driving a dark coloured car along the coast-bound carriageway at the time of the collision.
