A busy road which was due to shut tonight for urgent carriageway resurfacing to be carried out has been postponed.
The work was due to take place on the A299 Thanet Way - from Whitstable to Herne Bay - between 8pm and 7am.
It was due to be closed coast bound between the Clapham Hill Interchange and the Eddington Interchange.
Kent County Council (KCC) said the closure was necessary to enable KCC Highways to carry out urgent carriageway resurfacing works.
