Incredible footage has emerged of the sea near Whitstable frozen into slush in the cold weather.
Barry Thompson, from Seasalter, was walking along the beach at about 9am yesterday when he stumbled across the spectacular sight.
"It's quite a surreal thing to see because everything seems to be moving much slower," said the 49-year-old, who is CEO of local firm Me Now.

"For the most part it's quite still - there are no major waves or anything.
"I've seen the sea freeze once in Connecticut in America, but I've never seen it here.
"We walk the dogs along the beach at Seasalter every morning, and I've lived here nine years."
