Crash in Saddleton Road, Whitstable

Roads are closed in Whitstable following a serious road accident.
The incident occurred at the junction of Saddleton Road and Canterbury Road, with witnesses saying the crash involved a van and a cyclist.
People in the area reported a heavy police presence at the scene. One resident told KentOnline roads were closed in the area and police were turning vehicles around.
It is thought roads in the area will be closed for at least four hours. It is understood a cyclist was injured in the incident and has been taken to a London hospital.
