Borstal Hill in Whitstable closed off after cyclist injured

Police, paramedics and fire crews are at the scene of a serious incident in Whitstable this morning.
Borstal Hill has been closed off after a cyclist suffered injuries near the junction with Joy Lane shortly before 7am.
At least three police cars, three ambulances and a fire service vehicle are at the scene.
The road is shut in both directions, with motorists being diverted by officers.
Police have not disclosed how the cyclist was hurt, or the severity of their injuries.
A spokesman said: "Kent Police was called to a report that a cyclist had sustained injuries in Borstal Hill, Whitstable, shortly before 7am.
"Officers are currently at the scene with South East Coast Ambulance Service and the road is closed in both directions."
