Pop sensation Peter Andre paid a Kent mental health cafe a visit for a segment on The One Show.
Revival Food and Mood staff in Whitstable High Street were delighted to welcome the 90s singer two weeks ago.
Andre, ex-husband of reality star Katie Price, was given a tour of the venue including their Mental Health Bank, which provides free resources.
The footage will be shown on The One Show tonight at 7pm on BBC One.
Executive director of Revival Deborah Haylett said: “I was delighted to welcome Peter Andre and The One Show crew to Revival and be able to show them and the viewers what activities we offer.
“We are running groups and initiatives six days a week including creative groups, peer support, a walking group and activities that provide opportunities for connection and support.”
Revival Food and Mood launched the Mental Health Bank last year which harnesses skills from qualified practitioners who give their time to support community wellbeing.
The skills on offer include nutritional therapy, compassion therapy, yoga, Pilates, Bowen therapy, hypnotherapy, reflexology and much more.
Mrs Haylett added: “We are particularly proud of the Mental Health Bank.
“It is an innovative approach to non-clinical community mental health support - working with local practitioners to provide four free therapeutic sessions every week, including anxiety coaching, nutritional therapy, yoga for sleep, reiki, therapeutic art, sound healing and so much more.”
During the first year on the new premises on the High Street, Revival Food and Mood helped over 2,200 people and ran 364 groups – it also has supported 186 people a month.
Andre has been spotted several times in Kent.
In 2022, he headlined Gravesham Riverside Festival and delighted fans with his hit Mysterious Girl.
Last year, he performed at Mote Park in Maidstone for Revival in the Park.
He had also starred in Grease the Musical at the Marlowe in Canterbury, and is set to sing at the Foodies Festival in Tunbridge Wells this summer.
