A suspected burglar has been charged after a town centre pharmacy was "ransacked" in a break-in.
Police were called to an alarm sounding at Cheadles Chemist in Whitstable High Street in the early hours of Wednesday.
On arrival, officers saw damage had been caused to a door and a window. As they entered, they found it had been ransacked.
Jayden Holman, 20, of no fixed address, was arrested soon after and later charged with burglary with intent to steal.
He is also charged with burglary of alcohol and cash from a business in Sea Wall, Whitstable on Sunday, and attempted theft of a bicycle, going equipped for theft, and possession of a blade in public, all in Canterbury, last Wednesday.
Holman was remanded to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court today.
