Whitstable: Teenager cautioned after abandoning baby outside Co-op
15:20, 10 March 2017
A teenage mum has been cautioned after abandoning her baby outside a supermarket.
The 18-year-old was arrested in January after a child was discovered in a pram outside Co-op in Whitstable at around 6pm.
Police carried out a search for the mother, who had last been seen outside the store in Canterbury Road.
She was found soon after and arrested in connection with the incident.
The teenager has now been given a police caution.
