Teenage boy mugged and beaten on bus in Whitstable

A teenage boy was repeatedly punched in the face during a violent robbery on a bus.
The victim got on the double-decker at the Tollgate stop in Borstal Hill, Whitstable, shortly after midday and sat on the top floor.
A few minutes into the journey, he was punched a number of times to the face and body and told to hand over cash, which he did.
After the robbery, the victim remained in his seat until the bus arrived in Canterbury.
The suspects are described as boys aged 16 or 17.
One is slim and was wearing a dark tracksuit with white stripes down the edges. The other has a large build and was wearing a black hooded jumper and blue jeans.
Witnesses to the robbery on Saturday, August 14, should call police on 01843 222289, quoting 46/149358/21.
